About Liz

Having grown up in the Silicon Valley, I understand the unique pressures that come along with living here, and love helping people break free from the chains of anxiety, perfectionism, stress and overwhelm, low self-esteem, disordered eating, body image struggles, and more. I am passionate about helping people create change in their lives.

I provide a warm and nonjudgmental environment, while also being honest and direct about what I see and think will be necessary for you to reach your goals. I will help you identify what is keeping you stuck and how to unstick you from patterns that are no longer serving you in the pursuit of a happy and fulfilling life.

I value balance, flexibility, and self-compassion — especially for people who tend to push themselves hard. I believe slowing down, noticing patterns, and allowing space for humor and humanity are essential parts of meaningful change. These values guide how I show up both in and outside the therapy room.

Getting Started

Finding the right therapist is an important decision, and fit matters. If you’re curious about working together, I invite you to reach out to schedule a consultation. We can talk about what you’re hoping for and see if my approach feels like the right match.

I hold a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from The University of San Francisco (2010) and a Bachelor's from San Diego State University (2004). I’ve worked in a variety of therapy settings over the years - eating disorder treatment centers, partial hospitalization/intensive outpatient (PHP/IOP) clinics, schools, community mental health clinics, and small group practices. I’m now in a fully private practice based in Los Altos, CA.

I live in Los Altos, CA with my husband and two children.
